You will also be expected to have completed health and safety training, such as SMSTS, IOSH or NEBOSH. Ideally you will have completed other training/qualifications relevant
to the fire door industry.
A. In this case, we would recommend you gain some further skills, knowledge, experience and behaviours in relation to fire doors and complete some health & safety training, such as SMSTS. IOSH or NEBOSH, prior to applying for the FDIS Certificated Inspector assessment process. Remember to record any continual professional development on your CPD record.
