Important updates
The FDIS takes the welfare of our customers very seriously and we are following the Government guidance on the Coronavirus and have some important updates for you.
Pearson VUE test centres are open, however, there may still be instances where test centres have to close. If your exam is cancelled you will receive a cancellation email from Pearson VUE. This is an automated email so can sometimes be filtered into your junk email, so please check your junk emails, as well as your normal inbox. If your exam is cancelled you will have the opportunity to reschedule it. The Pearson VUE test centres will be operating in accordance with Government guidelines.
The onsite assessments for trainee inspectors are still running, please contact the office for further information.

The maintenance work on the Education Website has now been completed and the FDIS Diploma registrations and FDIS Diploma exam are available as normal.

About FDIS
The Fire Door Inspection Scheme (FDIS) was launched as a joint venture by the British Woodworking Federation (BWF) and the Guild of Architectural Ironmongers (GAI) in 2012. We aim to transform people’s knowledge about how and why fire doors work and the potential dangers of getting it wrong.
